Ukrainian National Rehabilitation and Prosthetics Center «ZDOROVIA»

The Ukrainian National Rehabilitation and Prosthetics Center «ZDOROVIA» is a modern Ukrainian center specializing in prosthetics, orthotics, the manufacture of orthopedic devices, and comprehensive rehabilitation for children and adults.

We help people after amputations, injuries, surgeries, and musculoskeletal conditions regain freedom of movement, confidence, and the ability to lead an active life.

Today our centers operate in Kyiv, Odesa, and Rivne, welcoming patients from across Ukraine. Over the years we have helped more than 15,000 patients, and our organization has been operating successfully since 2017.

What we do

We provide a full range of services in one place:

free prosthetics under the state program;
manufacture of upper and lower limb prostheses;
manufacture of orthoses;
manufacture of orthopedic footwear;
manufacture of custom orthopedic insoles;
manufacture of corsets and braces;
pre-prosthetic preparation;
rehabilitation after amputation;
training in the use of a prosthesis;
warranty and post-warranty service for devices.

Every device is made individually, taking into account the diagnosis, level of amputation, lifestyle, physical activity, and anatomical features of the patient.

Complex cases

Complex cases are one of our core specialties

Our center is one of the few in Ukraine that performs prosthetic fitting for patients with complex clinical cases.

We work with patients:

  • after high-level amputations;
  • after bilateral amputations;
  • after upper-limb amputations;
  • after lower-limb amputations;
  • after severe injuries;
  • after combat wounds.

We have extensive experience fitting prostheses for both civilian patients and military personnel.

Rehabilitation

Comprehensive rehabilitation

Prosthetics is just the beginning of recovery. Every patient goes through a comprehensive rehabilitation program that helps them adapt more quickly to using a prosthesis and return to everyday life.

The program may include:

training in the use of a prosthesis;
gait training;
balance recovery exercises;
training in proper load distribution;
guidance on residual limb care;
specialist support at every stage of recovery.

State program

Free prosthetics under the state program

Most of our patients receive prosthetic and orthopedic devices free of charge through the state program for providing technical rehabilitation aids.

We support the patient at every stage:

  1. consultation;
  2. help gathering documents;
  3. processing the required paperwork;
  4. manufacturing the device;
  5. training;
  6. support throughout rehabilitation.
For patients from other regions of Ukraine, our centers offer free accommodation and meals for the duration of prosthetic fitting and rehabilitation.
