Fitting and adjustment

Once the finished device has been handed over, training begins.

How does a hip disarticulation prosthesis differ from a transfemoral prosthesis?

In disarticulation, not only the thigh is absent but the hip joint as well. The prosthesis therefore has a more complex structure and includes a pelvic socket and an artificial hip joint module that compensates for the movements of the lost joint.

Is it possible to stop using crutches after prosthetics?

How long does it take to adapt to the prosthesis?
